A place far beyond.

To be ambitious, to be sad
To wish for heavens, a bucket of tears
To dream a multitude, to grieve greatly

The world is upturned
That who a million miles walks
Does so, not knowing really
And the shining stars
Are not always the mighty victors

To know your strength, to know your bound
To trust in  your strength, to love lies
You can run, as you could only

NARRATION.
This is a poem about ambition, something all humans have in common albeit in different magnitudes.it can be understood in 2 different ways.one such understanding would be that ambition demands a sacrifice_there is a price you must pay so as to attain your high goals in your career, education etc.in the first stanza talks of sadness accompanying ambition.....its the disappointment at not reaching your monthly targets, your dreams not coming true or things just not turning out as you had hoped.
The alternative interpretation of the poem is actually a warning..that the dreamers dreams may not come true, at least not as expected and this indeed is the fate of most dreams in life, they just never come true. Now the failure of those dreams or ambitions brings frustrations to the dreamer and that's captured most appropriately in the line 'to be ambitious,to be sad.'however i don't stop on the sad note but go on to give a view on why the dreams have failed. The poem has religious undertones, implying that a higher being is a factor in your ambitions,as seen in the statement to trust in your strength is to love lies.
Revisit  stanza two, what is it really talking about in relation to success(and success is when dreams come true for each success story has a dream behind it)you realize the whole point in the stanza is that chance and not hard work is the main ingredient of success.Chance in this case refers to a combination of the right factors_being born in the right country, living in the right neighborhood, the right family, being at the right place at the same time etc.consider this, would bill Gates have been so successful if he had been born in Russia and not the USA?That's just an example.
Stanza 3 goes deeper though and talks to the not so 'lucky' person who also has a dream, suggesting how to make it come true.the idea is to work on  strengths as opposed to weaknesses.Your dream may be to own a business but do you have the patience of a business man?Or the necessary eye for opportunities common with entrepreneurs? If you don't, then have a different dream because you might end up just wasting your time and resources.Their is always a dream that is right for you,you only need to identify it.
